OUR STORY
Compliance Solutions was founded in 1995; however, the idea behind the company was conceived many years prior. The company’s founders believed safety training should be effective and affordable... not mutually exclusive. For example: At the time, tuition for the initial 40 Hour HAZWOPER course averaged $1500 per student. Before Compliance Solutions, HAZWOPER was mainly offered by Environmental Consultants and were few and far between. In addition to the high cost, employers faced the added expense of travel, hotel, per diem, and rental car, due to limited availability. After extensive planning ... Compliance Solutions officially opened for business on December 15th, 1995.
For its debut, they started with a single instructor, offering classes in four cities (Denver, Detroit, Atlanta, and Los Angeles). In 1998, they launched the first online training course in the industry (the 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher).
In 2001, Compliance Solutions debuted another "industry first": Blended Learning for 40-Hour HAZWOPER. This allowed employers to fully meet OSHA requirements and provide excellent training, offering 32 hours of online curricula and 8 hours of in-person Instructor-Led training that includes a hands-on "Dress-Out" exercise with PPE and group in-class exercises.
In response to the COVID pandemic (2020), Compliance Solutions met customer training needs with Virtual, Instructor-Led training.
