Confined Space Entry:
This online training course allows the entrant, attendant, or supervisor to safely and confidently understand and evaluate the hazards and procedures associated with confined spaces. This training will help you to differentiate between a Permit-Required confined space and a Non-Permit-Required confined space. The course will address the hazards associated with confined spaces and it will outline the duties and responsibilities of all members of a confined space entry team, emergency rescue procedures, and plan development.
In addition to confined space entry procedures and hazards, this course explores the need for appropriate personal protective equipment and the selection characteristics for each level of protection. Because the use of instrumentation for monitoring is also essential to any confined space operation, the instruction will address numerous types of direct-reading instruments, including their mode of operation and limitations of each type.
Who Should Take This Course: Any person who is required to enter a confined space or a permit
required confined space (defined by OSHA as any space that is not meant for
continuous human occupancy) MUST receive this training before they may gain
access to the area.
Please Note: This course does not qualify participants as
a Confined Space Attendant (rescue trained). Attendant Rescue training is available for groups
as an on-site course ONLY. For more information on Confined Space Rescue,
