Course Objectives

Supervisors and managers will gain a basic understanding of the many benefits of accident investigation- most importantly accident prevention. They will also learn the basic causes of accidents and how to conduct an accident investigation. At the end of Accident Investigation Training, the student will be able to identify:

  • The differences between a major and minor accident.
  • The direct, indirect, and root causes of accidents.
  • Basic steps in accident investigation.

Assessment Final Exam on completion of the course. 70% or better is a passing grade.
